  1. Reversing camera issue

Hey guys, I’m having an issue with my reverse camera. It started giving trouble a couple months back, picture started getting fuzzy, then a blue screen coming & going, until finally just stayed as a blue screen. I assumed it was the camera itself as when it rained the camera lense would have moisture inside it. But i changed the camera the other day & the blue screen is still was still there. The camera i replaced was 2nd hand & was working when it came out of the other crashed car which was a 2014. So im thinking it may be a broken wire. But before i go looking for this possible broken wire im wondering if anybody else may have had similar issues & if there might be something else i could try.
  2. Does anyone else have a Genesis? I bought mine in January, it was 16 months old, and as you can see it is silver with a black interior. It's a lovely relaxing place to be! Obviously there is no need to talk about specifications as they are all the same! I look forward to seeing one on the road! Ben

  7. The IONIQ has been awarded Best Small Hatch at the UK Car of the Year Awards 2017, beating competition from the Renault Megane and MINI Clubman. The IONIQ received praise from all the COTY judges for its green powertrains, combined with a chassis that delivers a good driving experience and its stylish body design. UK COTY judges said: “IONIQ scores for its choice of three good eco drivetrains and is also decent to drive, with a good ride and refinement.” Paul Hudson “Hyundai has produced a solid model to take on the competitive segment.” Olivia Gauch “It’s an intelligent proposition for its flexible electric technology – and the design is edgy enough to reflect this.” Nargess Banks “Technologically pioneering in terms of the range of powertrains, and the car is stylish and without the compromises offered by other alternative-fuelled vehicles.” Paul Barker “Out-Priuses the Prius with a three-car range in a single swoop. A very impressive first effort.” Nat Barnes “The fact it offers three greener powertrains is a masterstroke. Why has nobody done this before? A great reputation for reliability, decent real-world economy from the petrol engine and looks that are sufficient to make a statement without looking polarising.” Keith Jones “With hybrid, plug-in hybrid and full electric options, the IONIQ takes on the Toyota Prius (hybrid & plug-in) and Nissan Leaf (EV only) and arguably offers greater attributes than both – from lower prices to better driving and visual appeal.” Guy Bird Tony Whitehorn, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK said “IONIQ has only been available since October yet has already received praise for its eco credentials and also its more mainstream capabilities. The award for Best Small Hatch from the UK COTY judges once again proves that Hyundai is offering exactly what the market wants – eco-friendly vehicles that drive well and look good that are also cost effective to run.” Ioniq – along with 11 other winning cars – will now go forward to a final category to decide the overall UK Car of the Year 2017. The winner will be announced on 24th February 2017.

  10. Help With Accessories

Hello all. I pick up my new Hyundai i40 tourer auto style on Thursday. Just looking for some help with the accessories that come for the vehicle. Im looking to buy the rails that fit into the boot that allow you to add some sort of load restraining system. Seen pictures and it looks good. Ideal for myself. Anyone no what its called? Cant find them on the hyundai website or ebay either. Just traded my insignia in there for an i40 style. Hope it is a good choice.
  11. Hi all, I have recently bought an i40 1.6 Station Wagon, Black, comfort level with extra rims, winter tyres and paiting (all for free). Got it brand new (150 kms on the clock). Also the first time I buy a brand new car! My old car was a 22 year old Mercedes 190 2.5D (17 years old when I bought it, still miss that car!). I am from Portugal but I live in Denmark and I have been driving my car for 2 weeks almost, and unfortunately with some small issues (will write about that on the warranty page). Upsides : Bluetooth works perfectly, USB as well, very smooth driving and gearbox. Loads of internal space!! Very comfortable as well. Downsides : not used yet to such a big car so my parking skills are a mess so far! Rear seat does not fold 90deg. Hoping that I will not have many problems with it, since Hyundai has been an reliable brand so far! Below some pictures of my new ride the first morning at home, with winter tyres and steel alloys, come spring and the nice "shoes" will be put on!
  12. The Korean car maker Hyundai is issuing two separate recalls over two different airbag problems. What is the possibility of that? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that more than 220,000 Santa Fe SUVs and Sonata sedans are affected in the strategies. Are you trying to buy or sell a new or used Spokane Ford Escape? If this sounds like you, don’t go any place else before you research Gus Johnson dealer! Defective system leads to recall Defective occupant classification systems make it easier for an improper air bag deployment in a crash. That means injuries are more likely. This is the reason why 19,118 Santa Fe SUVs from 2007 to 2009 are being recalled, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If an airbag deploys like it would for a kid and an adult is sitting in the seat, it could trigger serious damage. That is the same reasoning for if a child is in the seat and an airbag deploys like it would for an adult. The whole point of the occupant classification system is to determine who is sitting in the seat and just how the airbag should deploy. There have not been any injuries reported from the issue, though another option is that the airbag might not deploy at all. In fact, there have been many reports of safety bags not deploying on an adult weighing less than 130 pounds. The impacted Santa Fe SUVs were assembled between April 19, 2006 and July 7, 2008. The car maker claims the recall campaign will start in August. The affected automobiles will receive a software update to correct the occupant classification system. For The Absolute Best Value On A new Or Used Ford Stop By Used Auto Motors Right Now! About Sonata There are 22,512 Hyundai Sonatas being recalled from model years 2012 to 2013. The issue is with side curtain airbags that deploy without being in a crash. They can block the driver’s view of the street and trigger injuries when deployed like this. The problem came from a manufacturing defect, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Sonata recall was prompted by 16 distinct complaints from owners. Fortunately, as in the case of the Santa Fe recall, no injuries were noted in any of those complaint filings. The impacted Sonatas were built between, Jan 24, 2012, and June 21, 2012. That recall is also anticipated to begin in August, when affected automobiles will be fitted with a new side curtain airbag at no cost to the owner. 15. Hyundai Motor Company today holds the world premiere of its newest concept, a multi-purpose vehicle called “Hexa Space” at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. The new concept revolutionizes the use of interior space, another example of Hyundai’s “New Thinking. New Possibilities.” Hexa Space, codenamed HND-7, carries Hyundai’s characteristic “Fluidic Sculpture” design language, including the bold character lines on the side panels. Inside, Hexa Space incorporates other elements of family design, such as Hyundai’s distinctive hexagonal grille, which is applied to the seat designs. The vehicle features eight slim, hexagonally shaped seats that fit together like puzzle pieces, maximizing internal space while minimizing vehicle width. From honeycombs to architecture, the hexagon is known as an optimum shape for space efficiency. Hexa Space is targeted at young urban families in their 30s and 40s; customers who live a practical and demanding lifestyle in the bustling and exciting cities of the world’s emerging economies. These customers need their vehicles to serve many roles and Hexa Space satisfies those needs with its unique seat design. The seats offer multiple configurations for seating – center seats fold flat for greater comfort, the second row folds flat to create a limousine function, the back row folds flat for light-cargo use. In addition, seven seats fold flat for heavy hauling and all eight fold flat for camping. The center seat in the first two rows of Hexa Space is positioned slightly behind the seats on either side, allowing passengers to sit three-abreast without feeling cramped. Getting in and out of Hexa Space is easy, thanks to its innovative door design. The rear doors lift out and slide back, creating wide-open entry on each side. Hexa Space’s interior is completed with high-tech features, including a touch-screen center console, a push-button shifter and a cluster ionizer air purifier. Several storage spaces are tucked throughout the interior. Despite the roomy interior, Hexa Space maintains a narrow overall width, key for maneuvering the crowded urban streets of India and the world’s emerging nations. Hexa Space shares a platform with Hyundai’s compact ix20 and is only slightly wider. Externally, Hexa Space is 4,300 mm long, 1,820 mm wide and 1,647 mm high, giving it substantial headroom. The wheelbase is 2,750 mm and runs on 19-inch tires. Hexa Space is powered by Hyundai’s Kappa 1.2-liter turbo GDI engine, which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
