  1. Help! Broken car!

I have owned my Hyundai i40 estate (2013 plate) for the last 2 years and love it. Recently I have noticed my fuel economy change but thought it was down to changing tyres for cheaper ones. One Sunday driving home from the Midlands I noticed some white/blue smoke coming for the exhaust in ever increasing amounts but would then stop for 5 mins, then start again. No loss in power, no warning lights. I thought this may be the DPF regen, but it didn’t stop. The following morning checked the levels and the engine oil has gone well over the full line and smells of diesel. Under advice I looked under the engine cover and there is some oil in the recess around the 2nd (!) injector :-( There is not a lot of information on line about Hyundai’s and we have an argument continuing in our house on whether my husband can do the work himself. My main concern is whether this could be the injector itself as someone has said it could be the cam cover gasket around that injector, which would mean all the seals will need doing? any advice from you lovely people would be ever so appreciated as I don’t have millions o foment to throw at this and it’s my only form of transport for work. Could this be the injector or something more? thanks
