  1. They've come along way, wouldnt have considered one a few years back, but a friend of mine bought one (santafe) and I was impressed, seems to be a good, capable, and cheap-ish 4x4.
  2. 07 Sonata timing belt interval

Yip, only 23 on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cars-/9801/i.html?_nkw=hyundai+sonata&_catref=1&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282 and half of them are the ugly earlier version with those horrible lights
  3. Bluetooth steering option?

Yes it is, I've been looking at a few i10's lately, and one of them had it, I'm certain.
  4. Which Hyundai do you drive?

Still looking for one at the moment...
  5. Myself, I spent Saturday car shopping, yesterday tending the garden and today is a "me" day!
  6. 07 Sonata timing belt interval

I'm also looking into purchasing a Sonata, what kind of prices do they go for in Ireland? (assuming that's where you are!)
  7. What a star!

When I looked at the picture of the Hyundai Pony I knew it looked familiar. Hey presto, a quick net search confirmed that this model is quite the movie star! If you want to see just how many films and TV shows used it check this link to a fan site.
  8. I think the car is cool, especially for those who can get away with a 3 door model. The use of the term 'satisfying' intrigues me. I would love to know how they measured that when they surveyed customers.
  9. I like the safety aspects

Considering this car has such a good press for safety I would say they have figured it out. I doubt most people driving them are doing more than town or maybe country road driving though. When I see parents doing the school run in something so big I am puzzled. Perhaps the feeling of security is the attraction?
  10. Sporty Dream

I agree this car is sporty, but it is subtle and sleek. You should definitely put it on your agenda when you change cars. I have always fancied a convertible, though it would be wasted with the weather here!
  11. Oldie but goodie!

Hi Letty. Have you had your Accent since it was new? I think that's the best way to get the most life out of a car. Buying something second hand means you never really know how much care it had or what problems were not dealt with. Good for you for being 'green'.
  12. Hello from a Hyundai fan

Thanks for the warm welcome. It feels good to be able to 'talk' about cars without the risk of boring people. Yes, the hot pink was a custom job by its previous owner. I never had trouble finding it in a car park!!
  13. 8th seat?

The i800 has been around for a couple of years in the UK. I've never ridden in one but I hear that the seats are all non-removable. In fact I'm pretty sure they don't even lie flat. Still, it's got a lot of plus points and the price is very good.
  14. Hyundai reveals facelifted i10

I have totally fallen for this model and am hoping I can manage to buy one very soon. It seems to be a great deal and would be my first ever brand new car! Especially attractive is the VAT free offer some dealers are offering right now.
  15. Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I learned to drive with a Hyundai and have rarely strayed from the company since. The first one I actually bought was hot pink, hence my name! Right now I am looking at getting something in the 'i' series.
